Mac OS X 10.11.4 (15E65)
Libmacgpg 0.6.1 752
GPGMail 2.6b2 1105b
GPG Keychain 1.2.1 1147
GPGServices 1.10.1 871
MacGPG2 2.0.28 855
GPGPreferences 1.5 846

I received a PGP signed email from a bank and Mail is unable to display it. See screenshot.
I can save the raw message source and use quick view to display it from the Finder (attached file with critical info removed).
However, Mail crashes if I try to save the message in plain or rich text format (attached log).
You can quick view the attached message and open it in Mail for testing.

What did you expect instead

Mail displays the content of the message and I can print it as requested by the sender.

Describe steps leading to the problem.

I received an email signed with a PGP signature.

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins?

No, there is only GPGMail.mailbundle in /Library/Mail/Bundles

    Hey Eddy,

welcome to the GPGTools community support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Is the behavior reproducible in all cases and does it continue after a restart of your mac?

Does the issue persist if you temporarily disable GPGMail?

    • shut down mail.app
    • open finder
    • navigate to /Library/Mail/Bundles or ~/Library/Mail/Bundles and copy GPGMail.mailbundle to your desktop
    • now delete GPGMail.mailbundle from the original folder

Restart mail and check in Mail.app > Preferences if you still see GPGMail. It should be gone.

To re-enable mail, close Mail.app and move the bundle file back to the Bundles folder.

Let me know how this goes.

    All the best,
