El Capitain Support
Which of our tools is giving you problems? GPGMail 2.5.1 (2d4163d) Build 1050n
Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.
To test the actual Version with El Capitain as OSX Beta Tester i
got an Stacktrace when starting the Mail.app
I put the Stacktrace in the attchment... Would be nice if somebody
can take a look @it, maybe its a general problem (?!)
If your problem concerns GPGMail, are other plugins installed in Mail.app?
i use the the hole osx Suit with Keychain, Services, GPG2, and the prefpane.
Thanks to the how can help :-)

when do you expect the fix i am currently on el capitan golden master. and its not working :(
3 Posted by b on 10 Sep, 2015 06:16 PM
also on gm. also interested in hearing about the timeframe. from what i remember about the transition to yosemite it took months and months before support was ready.
Support Staff 4 Posted by Steve on 10 Sep, 2015 06:56 PM
As you probably know, we do not give ETAs.
b, that is not correct. On 10.10 there was a working beta from day 1.
So until 10.11 is released let's try to relax and have a tea. We are not artificially delaying things here.
A first test version will be released as soon as it's ready.

same problem, had to remove bundle from /Library/mail. does rolling back to previous version work?
Support Staff 6 Posted by Steve on 11 Sep, 2015 11:29 AM
no, as mentioned, GPGMail is not 10.11 compatible at the moment. Remove the bundle and wait is the current solution. You can use GPGServices as a workaround for the time being.

is it possible to decrypt message attachments using gpgservices?
Support Staff 8 Posted by Steve on 14 Sep, 2015 08:41 AM
Hey b,
drag the "encrypted.asc" attachment to your desktop and then follow this KB:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/gpgservices-faq/how-to-decrypt-an...
9 Posted by b on 15 Sep, 2015 09:06 PM
ok, thanks for the reply. unfortunately encrypted.asc will decrypt as usual and the email headers and message appear but any attached .doc just appears as a bunch of base64 encoded text, almost looks like a pgp ascii armor block (but it's not). is that what's supposed to happen? how do i get a usable .doc file from an encrypted.asc?
10 Posted by Pawel on 16 Sep, 2015 09:20 AM
Hey, change decrypted file extension to .eml and it should open in Mail.app

@Pawel: Thank you, very helpful little step. Reading the headers while in a long email can feel visually chaotic. Good little catch. =)

Works 10.10 gpg suite standard to 10.11 alpha + vice versa (sorry I forgot to test with attachments). I don't have any Windows partner right now :-( Anyway - looks pretty good! THX!

Hey, thank you very much for the alpha!
For me it is working pretty good on OS X 10.11 El Capitan :).

This comment was split into a new discussion: unusable public key
Not sure if this is an Apple Mail issue or not, but getting a lot of the attached screenshots combined with the messages sending but still going out...

hi, i have the nightly of gpgmail (and the stable of the rest of the suite).
currently my mail.app is crashing on every open.
Is the solution currently to remove /Library/Mail/Bundles gpgmail bundle, and await a different version?
thanks very much :)

@dee liteful,
Could you please check if you downloaded Alpha version?
There are two GPGMail in the nightly link. bottom link is for El Capitan, which works fine to me.
Here's the link.

Dear all,
if you are experiencing any trouble please do open separate new discussions here:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/discussion/new
Make sure to select "Beta Feedback" as category and answer all the default questions. Also please always paste the version info from GPGPreferences (just click on any version number and it all will be in your clipboard. You only have to cmd + v to paste the info then).
If you run into any crashes, please do attach the crash-log so we can have a closer look and investigate.
I'm closing this discussion as it initially was about having a 10.11 compatible version (which we now have).
@dee liteful and all others who are still seeing crashes with the first 10.11 GPGMail a1 release: To ensure a working status on 10.11 for now, please install the nightly GPG Suite and after than run the GPGMail a1 both from https://releases.gpgtools.org/nightlies/
We are working on making this easier and ensuring GPGMail will not crash on 10.11. We'll announce news as we have them on our homepage.
Thanks for all the input so far and happy to hear from you about the 10.11 pre-release in new discussions.
Kindly,
steve

GPG Suite 2015.09 has been released. When installed on 10.11 you'll see GPGMail 2.6b2 which is 10.11 compatible.
Closing.
If you see any trouble, please do open new discussions and we'll look into specifics there.
